On the holidays in honor of St. Nicholas the faithful of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical brought out a story for children and their parents' to teach the good and fill their souls with joy. That event happened outdoors on the streets of Kyiv. St. Nicholas with the God's angels and little forest animals were listening to songs and poems from children and gave them presents so kids promised to be polite and obedient. Cold weather did not become an obstacle to fun and the fire of good hearts enhanced the light of the Lord on Earth.

December 18, 2011, on the eve of St. Nicholas' Day, the adults and kids became the participants of a fairytale event dedicated to the beautiful feast of goodness, which took place in the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Lord of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical after the Divine Liturgy. St. Nicholas with the God's angels and forest little animals gave all the present unforgettable moments of joy and happiness. They also highlighted the virtues, which not only kids, but every adult should develop in their personal lives to be written down in the book of life and to have the God's blessing for themselves and their family.

October 14, 2011 in the Cathedral of Transfiguration of Lord of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical Oleksandr, Bishop of Zhytomyr in concelebration with Vasyliy, Bishop of Fastiv ministered the Divine Liturgy in honour of the Protection of Our Most Holy Lady.

On August 19, 2011, in the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Lord of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical Oleksandr, Bishop of Zhytomyr in concelebration with Vasyliy, Bishop of Fastiv ministered the Divine Liturgy in honour of the Transfiguration of Lord. All present people felt the singularity of the prayer and this feast - the feast of the Temple, which was built with sincere love and deep faith in salvation of people, in awakening of their God's nature.
