January 5, 2013, on the eve of Christmas in Uzhgorod, the clergy and the faithful of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical together with people not indifferent to human troubles organized and carried out the charity event – free dinner for the poor people. The poor and homeless people had the opportunity to eat hot tasty food, warming the body and the soul.

The event is taken place for the third time already to help people, who became poor because of some life The main mission of Church is to help poor people with word and deed, as the Church is the representation of God on the Earth. Our Lord Jesus Christ said:

"Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me."

(Matthew 25:40)
