On March, 1, on Shrove Sunday, the Patriarch Moses ministered the Divine Liturgy, calling the faithful for penance and blessing to enter Lent.

Lent - is the way of soul and body purification, the way of temptations and resistance to them, the way of a human soul growth in the God's Spirit. It is the way, Our Lord was going. He rejected the temptations of devil, getting ready to give His life for the salvation of people, for our salvation.

On the day before Lent, on Shrove Sunday, let's apologize with the sincere hearts to our relatives, friends and enemies. Let's apologize to them, and forgive them. Just so Lord taught us:

"For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15)
