Iis the Day of Resurrection! Let us be radiant, O people! Pascha! The Lord's Pascha! For Christ our God has brought us from death to life, And from earth unto heaven, As we sing triumphant hymns! Christ is risen from the dead!

In the mournful evening of Good Friday in the temple of UAOC-Canonical in Kyiv the Holy Service took place, which gave an opportunity to the clergy and the faithful to feel in their hearts the tragedy and the greatness of self-sacrifice of the Son of God, accomplished for our redemption.

In the mournful evening of Holy Thursday, in the temple of UAOC-Canonical in Kyiv, as in all the orthodox temples, the clergy read the Twelve Passion Gospels, where was revealed the tragedy of the humankind and the great love of God, Who had given His Son for those, who would believe in Him. The faithful listened to the Holy Gospel with the candles alight, and after the service finished, brought the light to their homes to bring through these sparks the grand force of God`s protection for their families and homes.

On March, 1, on Shrove Sunday, the Patriarch Moses ministered the Divine Liturgy, calling the faithful for penance and blessing to enter Lent.

On January 19, on the day of the great holiday Theophany during the Baptism of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Moses, Patriarch of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine ministered the festive prayer service and accomplished the rite of the Great blessing of waters on the Dnieper river shore.

On the day of Lesser Blessing of Waters, the day before the great Christian holiday Baptism of Our Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Theophany, the Patriarch Moses ministered the festive prayer service and accomplished the rite of water consecration after the Sunday Holy Divine Liturgy. "I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire." (Matthew 3:11)

On the morning of January 14, the Patriarch Moses  on the first day of the New Year according to the Julian calendar, ministered the Holy Divine Liturgy and asked for the blessing of God to all the children of God irrespective of affiliation or confession, place of residence or colour of skin - for peace to all the children of God.
